Our Mission
We exist to unite and serve the evangelical Church in Africa — that she might stand together as one body, proclaim the Gospel with one voice, and bring holistic transformation to every community across the continent.
PSALM 133:1 (NIV)
How we serve the Church
Uniting • Equipping • Mobilising
Three callings hold our work together — gathering the African Church as one body, strengthening her leaders, and sending her out in mission across the continent.
01
Uniting
We bring national evangelical fellowships together as one body, so the Church across Africa can speak and serve with a united voice.
02
Equipping
We strengthen leaders and fellowships through theological formation, training and shared resources for the work of ministry.
03
Mobilising
We send the Church out in mission, evangelism and holistic transformation in every community across the continent.
Our Mission
A fellowship of nations since 1966
The Association of Evangelicals in Africa is a continental fellowship of 40 national evangelical fellowships, serving the Church across seven regions. Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Nairobi, AEA is the regional body for Africa within the World Evangelical Alliance — believers united in the Gospel, working together for the good of the continent and the glory of God.
